Thank you all for your support of our BackerKit campaign! We are so excited to get the game to your tables so you can start playing with your friends and family.

The survey for voting on the favorite Kobold is now closed! The winners are Cleo and Darcy who will be made into the enamel pins.

And on the last day we were able to unlock the $100K stretch goal! Now every copy of the game will come with printing on the wooden tokens.

Our next step is to start working with our manufacturer to get your copies of The Unheist and the add-ons into production. Since there were some changes to the game since the last prototype, we will be doing another round of prototyping to make sure everything is just right!

We are also working on getting the pledge manager setup over the next coming weeks. When it's ready, an email will be sent out to backers asking for shipping information and allowing a last chance to add any additional items.

During all of this, we will be providing updates through BackerKit to keep you informed. We will be as transparent as possible throughout the manufacturing process and notify if you there are any issues or delays.

We can't believe it's already the final day for The Unheist of Hearthburn House campaign. We've had a ton of fun engaging with you all and sharing more about the game. Launching crowdfunding campaigns is always stressful and we want to thank you all for making it enjoyable experience!

And we're also excited to reach 1,000 backers! It's an awesome milestone to hit right before the end of the campaign. Fingers crossed we can also hit the $100k stretch goal before the day is done!

With the trivia questions officially closed, the Curators are the winners! Congratulations on getting the highest score with 96% accuracy. We've been impressed by everyone's Kobold knowledge as the lowest scoring question was still 72% correct on the origin of Kobolds. We wanted to crown an individual winner, but too many people got every question right!

The poll is still open until the end of today! If you haven't voted on your favorite kobold, make sure to review the poll at the bottom of this update. The top two winners will be made into enamel pins!

Currently, Darcy is winning with 19% with Cleo right behind at 18%.  While they are the clear front runners, Sofia still has a chance to catch up!

After the campaign ends, we will start working on producing the game! We'll provide a more detailed update tomorrow on what to expect from us over the next coming months.

As we come to the end of the campaign, we wanted to reminisce on our favorite parts about creating The Unheist of Hearthburn House. This could be from the very beginning of the idea to something that happened this past week!

Jeremy
One of the most entertaining parts about creating the game was having to explain to my non-D&D friends and family what a kobold is. I would explain the premise of The Unheist and continually get confused looks. Now my mom can definitely explain what a kobold is!

I also really enjoyed doing the livestream playthroughs of the game for the campaign. It's fun to not only play games with my friends, but also interact with chat at the same time.

Luke
I loved seeing the art come together. There's something special about the moment where your game goes from a jumble of mechanics and doodles to actually looking like a game. Those visuals from the artist and designer really bring your game from an idea to a reality.

Kyle
I had a great time being able to show off the game to people at different cons and see their reaction to the artwork and theme of the game. Seeing a spark of excitement in their eye or smiling and laughing at different aspects of the game is the best part!


As bonus content, we did a "mock" interview discussing some of the behind-the-scenes of The Unheist of Hearthburn House. Some of the content was covered last week, but we dive deeper into all of the topics during our conversation!

As we've shared plenty of times before, our artist Caitlyn Kurilich was essential in bringing The Unheist of Hearthburn House to life. She really did an amazing job of adding her style and charm to world of Unheist. Today, we just wanted to give her a shoutout for the wonderful work that she did.



Caitlyn went above and beyond when working with us. She was super collaborative and gave us multiple options for each character. We have shared Wisteria's draft previously, but thought we'd share some mock-ups of Jasper and Cleo as well!

We can't thank Caitlyn enough and hope to work with her again on future projects.

Now that we are heading into the final week of the campaign, it's time to vote on your favorite Kobold from The Unheist of Hearthburn House!

This poll isn't just for fun, it will also determine which Kobolds are made into enamel pins. The top two most voted kobolds will be included as enamel pins with the "Kobold Enamel Pins" reward (included with both the Unheist Everything and ZSG Game bundles, and as an add-on).
